Part of the Allium family, similar to onions and garlic. Contains N-propyl disulfide, which causes hemolytic anemia. All parts (bulb and leaves) are toxic.

Symptoms to Watch For

Weakness, vomiting, pale gums, red-colored urine, rapid breathing, lethargy, collapse.

🐱 Safety Analysis — Cats

A member of the Allium family. Highly toxic and causes hemolytic anemia. More toxic to cats than dogs. All parts are dangerous.

Symptoms to Watch For

Lethargy, pale gums, red-colored urine, vomiting, diarrhea, rapid breathing.

Additional Notes

Contains the same toxins as onions and garlic. All parts are poisonous. Complete avoidance is necessary.
